Junior Ambassadors Program
The Junior Ambassadors program provides high school students with an opportunity to learn about business and the community from professionals. Students gain experience by assisting with a variety of events, chamber mixers, field trips, ribbon cuttings, and internships.
Each year, two high school seniors who are planning to attend college and who meet the Junior Ambassador Scholarship criteria become eligible to receive a scholarship. Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee of Chamber Directors and Chamber staff.
Participants in the Junior Ambassador Leadership Program are expected to attend all scheduled meetings, conduct themselves in a professional manner and wear business casual attire. In order to accomplish the goals for the year it is important that meetings start on time so please be prompt.
The program is intended for students between the ages of 14 and 18 with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and is limited to 15 members.
